Dedicated routes. Same lane, same truck.

A dedicated route is capacity you do not have to go find every week. We commit a truck to your lane on a schedule, and your planning stops being a bet on what the spot market does on Thursday.

Why shippers move a lane to dedicated

If the same freight moves between the same two points on a predictable rhythm, re-sourcing it every single week is pure overhead. Somebody has to post it, field the calls, compare the rates, vet whoever answered, and then hope the truck actually shows.

Worse, that carrier is different every time, so nobody learns your docks, your appointment system, your receiving manager, or the fact that the back gate is locked before six. On a dedicated route those things get learned once and then they stop costing you anything.

What a dedicated arrangement gives you

  • Reserved capacity on a schedule. The truck is committed to your lane, so you are not competing for it when the market tightens.
  • A driver who knows the stops. He has been to your dock. He knows the gate code, the check in process and who to ask for.
  • Rate stability. A set arrangement instead of whatever the spot market feels like the week you need it.
  • Planning you can build on. Production and receiving schedules stop being hostage to whether a truck turns up.

How a lane gets set up

It starts as a normal load. You send us a shipment, we run it, and both sides find out whether this works. Nobody should sign a schedule with a carrier they have never watched operate, and we would rather earn the lane than talk you into it.

Once a rhythm is clear, we work out frequency, pickup windows, delivery appointments and what happens on holidays and peak weeks. Then it runs, and you spend your week on something other than finding a truck.

The same applies in reverse. If a dedicated setup stops making sense for you, we would rather hear it early and fix it than have you quietly start shopping the lane again.

Dedicated Routes questions.

Do I have to commit to a long contract?
No. Most dedicated lanes start as ordinary one time shipments and turn into a schedule because it worked. Whether you need a one time shipment or a reliable long term logistics partner, we are ready to serve you.
How many loads a week does a dedicated route need?
There is no fixed minimum. What matters is that the pattern is predictable enough to plan a truck around. Tell dispatch the lane and the frequency and we will tell you if it works.
Can a dedicated route cover more than one lane?
Yes. Plenty of setups are a loop rather than a single out and back. Describe the stops and the timing and we will build the schedule around them.
